Gov. Brian Schweitzer has signed off on a proposal to remove an additonal 250,000 cubic yards of contaminated sediments from the old river bed of the Clark Fork River.
The Natural Resource Damage Program and the Clark Fork Coalition first proposed removing the old river channel sediments in 2007. ( See the related story.
