The University of Montana Department of Geosciences has released a draft final report that looks at the impact Milltown Reservoir drawdowns might have on the adjacent unconfined aquifer and area wells. The report will be discussed at an EPA open house and public meeting on August 1 at the Bonner School. The report is available in PDF version (7.3 MB). Opportunity

Friends at the Opportunity Citizens Protection Association (OCPA) are raising matching funds for a community park and will hold their second annual fun run and picnic in Opportunity on August 4. Read more about it here (PDF).
